Artist Guild

Every week, we eagerly gather for exciting art classes that give everyone the opportunity to explore their creativity, try new techniques and, most importantly, have fun!

We are thrilled to welcome Kiki, our new Program Director, to our art team. Kiki brings a wonderful artistic spirit, creativity and enthusiasm to Zack’s Place, and we are excited to see how she inspires our artists.

We are also delighted to welcome Mon from Artistree Community Arts Center to our art team. Mon joins us in creating a welcoming, inclusive and adaptive art experience where every artist can explore their own unique style. While Finnie has moved into an independent role, we are grateful for all the creativity and encouragement Finnie has shared with our artists and are excited to continue building on that foundation with Kiki and Mon.

A few times each month, we make the trip to the Artistree Community Arts Center in Pomfret, Vermont, for Fiona’s wonderful clay and pottery class. Fiona provides clear, step-by-step guidance while encouraging everyone to experiment, explore and develop their own creative style. Artists have access to Artistree’s supplies and enjoy the entire process—from shaping and creating with clay to glazing their finished pieces. Fiona then fires each creation, making it especially exciting to see the finished masterpieces!

We’re also thrilled to continue expanding our art experiences with classes at Tip Top Pottery and Replay Arts in White River Junction. Our artists have enjoyed exploring different mediums and are especially excited to create with unconventional materials at Replay Arts.

At Zack’s Place, we believe there is an artist in everyone. Whether we are painting, sculpting, working with clay or experimenting with something completely new, our art programs provide a wonderful opportunity for self-expression, friendship and discovery. We are so grateful to Kiki, Mon, Fiona and all of our amazing art instructors for helping our artists shine!
