Registration Fee: $35.00 per person
Location: Walk/Run begins and ends at Woodstock Elementary School. Awards ceremony immediately following on The Green.
Registration after 11/27 at 12 noon: Woodstock Elementary School, Wednesday, November 27, 3-5pm
or Thanksgiving morning, 8-9am (please indicate walker or runner status).
T-Shirts: Preregistered racers may pick up t-shirt & race packet on Wed 11/27, 3-5pm and Thur 11/28, 8-9:30am at Woodstock Elementary School.
Zack’s Place will do the best they can to predict the amount of t-shirts.
To insure you get your size, pick up at early registration.

2023 Turkey Trot was a HUGE success!
We registered over 1,000 runners, 700 walkers, and over 100 participants who joined us globally.
The event had several highlights, such as John Snyder’s band entertaining us, Evie Hackett singing the National Anthem, and the weather warming up to almost 40 degrees and sunny. We also had delicious goodies donated by Price Chopper Stores.
The T-shirts featured 75 sponsors on the back and helped us raise $47,000. Together with the 1800-plus runners and donations, we raised approximately $125,000 gross. This accounts for almost one-third of Zack’s Place’s annual budget, allowing us to provide quality programs throughout the year.
We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who participated, donated, volunteered and sponsored the event. We also appreciate the support from the community. Everyone had a great time, and we received a lot of positive feedback.

We have received feedback that parking was a challenge during the event. To address this issue, we plan to organize a think tank. Additionally, there were some incidents involving dogs. A few runners were tripped by dogs with extendable leashes, and there was also a dog that bit a human. There were some dog fights and aggressive behavior toward children in the crossfire. We are considering implementing a policy prohibiting bringing dogs to the event as a preventive measure. This measure aims to ensure the safety of all attendees.
